   hi! newbie at linux here. i installed kahel at my p4 computer via cd install. everything went well & was well on my way to enjoy the new OS. on the 2nd or 3rd use of the system (after a boot) the following error message appears:

   Unattached inode 365120

   Pls repair manually & reboot. Note file system is currently read only. To remount it to read-write type mount -n -o remount, rw /

   i go to the root and type the mount command & exit the system. the computer boots again & the same problem again. tried to reinstall system (again successful install) but after 2 uses of the system it reverts to the same error again.

   help! don't know how to repair the system.

   I also encountered this before and i was able to solve this issue on which everything is back to normal using fsck. You may want to try this and maybe it could also help you.

   1."mount -n -o remount, rw /" and "fsck -y" then reboot the system.
   2.what file system did you choose during the installation? check http://www.kahelos.org/docs/manual_kahelOS_Desktop_installationguide_v1.pdf can you try using other FS eg.ext4.
   3.This could also be a harddisk problem.

   Let us know what will happen.

   did the instructions above and it worked! however, i was not able to check after the 2nd reboot. was in a hurry though. will check tonight again. if the error happens again will do a reinstall of the system with a different fs. thanks a lot!

   opened kahel again & it still works after 2 reboots. then i tried a reset without a proper shutdown & the error happened again. it took 2 tries at manually repairing the error, using the mount & fsck commands before it kahel returned to normal.

   i will try reinstalling the system using the suggested fs.
