Installation hangs while installing GRUB

Hey!

Im having trouble installing Kahel. When the installation asks me if i have a software-raid and if i want to install grub on another hdd i chose 'No' and then nothing happens.

Ive tried to install this three or four times. Everytime its the same. I first tried the 32-bit version burned on a cd and then i tried the 64-bit version on a usb-stick. No difference. I checked the md5sums both times and they are fine.

I have installed Arch linux several times without problem, so i have no idea whats wrong.

Hope someone out there have something to say :)

I figured this out yesterday. As in the thread you posted, i made an separate /boot-partition, didnt have that before. Thanks anyway!

I am glad to see this as I had the same problem. I installed Xubuntu 10.04 instead. It is a shame you need to set up a boot partition when you do not need this in arch linux as you can just set up the root directory and then select where grub goes and it just works.
