   im not sure what went wrong. naginstall ako ng skype tapos sobrang putol putol yung sound nung nag play ako ng audio. saka parang feeling ko bumagal yung interface nung kahel. nagtry ako mag play ng video sa youtube wala ring audio. i noticed this problem pagkatapos ko mag install nung skype. un laptop model ko is compac presario cq40.

   re: Skype, the problem might be related to the speed of the internet.

   glitterberries, try mo mag create ng file na sound.conf sa /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf

   sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf

   at i-add mo ang options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1

   tapos reboot.
