All non-free and proprietary software have not been included on the most recent release of Kahel OS. However, the user is perfectly capable to install those packages if they need them.
Before installing any new application, it is recommended to sync the newest packages to the main repository via typing
sudo pacman -Syy && sudo pacman -SyuTo install Adobe Flash type
sudo pacman -S flashplugin
To install Sun Java JDK/JRE (recommended) typesudo pacman -S openjdk6
To install all the codecs typesudo pacman -S gstreamer0.10-{bad,ffmpeg,ugly} gstreamer0.10-{bad,ugly}-pluginsPosted 6 months ago #
