@Melody: I tried installing the KahelOS using virtualbox and I did not encounter the problem that you are telling us (it could be related to your keyboard). Can you give us some screenshots or steps that you've done on installing KahelOS on your virtual machine?

Here's the things that I did.
1.Setup Vitual Machine Envirinment
http://r3d3ye.wordpress.com/2009/12/11/installing-kahelos-using-virtualbox/

2:Followed the steps on the installation guide.
http://www.kahelos.org/docs/manual_kahelOS_Desktop_installationguide_v1.pdf

Btw,you may wish to introduce yourself at this link
http://forum.kahelos.org/forum/let039s-introduce-ourselves

Just imbibe in yourself to learn new stuff, explore them and take it to your advantage.
Keep on posting.

Hi Melody!

If you need to setup your keyboard for your language, you will use 'km' which will let you choose the keyboard appropriate for your locale.

After that, you'll have to run /kahel/setup

We're currently making the next version of Kahel OS that will not asks the user to enter any keystrokes upon setup, so the setup window will just appear right after it booted.
